New launches: Inside Flyer, Facebook

A few notes this week about my continuing movement toward the 21st century…

Way back when, before there was this whole internet thing, the frequent flyer world belonged to a guy named Randy Petersen, who published a magazine called Inside Flyer. Since then, Randy has launched a number of other sites, including Flyertalk.com and Milepoint.com. This past week, Randy re-launched Inside Flyer as an online only site, focused on pretty much every aspect of travel. I was lucky enough to be picked as a contributor to the site, where I will be focusing on two topics: Advice for the new frequent flyer and Las Vegas. At this point, the plan is for me primarily to help build out the Las Vegas part of the site, but both areas will be covered. I’ll be adding anywhere from one to three posts per week at Inside Flyer, with all of them viewable from one page.

And sometime over the next week, I’ll be launching the Facebook page for Frequent Flyer Miles 101. It’s something that I’ve gotten requests for and will allow you to easily share pieces that you find interesting.
