Bad Advice from Andie MacDowell
Apparently, Andie MacDowell was not happy with AA after they moved her to coach with her dog when she had paid for first.
Truthfully, reading through her Twitter account, she seems like a lovely person, but there are a couple of things in her Tweets worth looking at:
But this is the advice that I really want to correct:
That lesson may be true if you are a celebrity, but if you are the average customer, Twitter is one of your best friends when it comes to complaining. Companies know that everyone on their social media accounts sees what everyone else writes, so they will bend over backwards to help you. I have to admit, I still haven’t quite figured out the complexities of Twitter, but the basics are pretty easy.
And if you pay for first, you should expect to be in first. She had every right to complain, so the backlash is unwarranted. And her new dog is freakin’ adorable.
