Delta Brings Back 70,000 Mile Credit Card Bonus (+$100)

Want to fly somewhere warm? This may be your opportunity.

70,000 Miles from Delta (And Then Some)

Delta Airlines

Delta has brought back its offer for a 70,000 point sign-up bonus from American Express, available through this link.* Sign up for the Platinum Delta SkyMiles card and spend $3,000 in your first three months as a cardholder, and they’ll doubly reward you: You’ll get 70,000 SkyMiles as well as a $100 statement credit if you make your first Delta purchase within three months. You’ll also get 10,000 Medallion Qualifying Miles (MQM), which are the miles used each year to measure elite status. You also receive your first checked bag free for yourself and up to eight of your traveling companions.

70,000 miles is (usually) more than enough to get you a one-way business class ticket to Europe but, in a worst-case scenario, can be used for $700 worth of Delta flights, which would more than offset the $195 annual fee.

The link above is a referral link that gives me 10,000 miles if you use it. As regular followers know, all credit card proceeds get donated to charity, and last year, readers helped me raise over $3,000 for Cradles to Crayons, a four-star Charity Navigator organization that provides basics for children. Since I can’t donate miles, I will give $100 for the first card approved through the link and then $150 for each additional card until I match the total that I got for all of 2017. Feel free to pass this link along!
